Welcome to our website Olive Tree, Stramshall!
We are a Tea Rooms and Guest House near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
Thanks for taking the time to visit today. Here is a little bit about our business and us!
We are a small family team made up of Rebecca, David and our daughter Alice. We originally lived in Spain (hence the name Olive Tree) but decided to move back to England once our family started to grow with grandchildren. We bought the property in the lovely village of Stramshall with the idea of running a small bed and breakfast. This was soon expanded on when our daughter had the idea of using the vast amounts of space downstairs to create a tea room as well!
We have put our hearts and souls into the property to give it a really good refurbish making it in our opinion a comfy and homely place to either visit for food and drink or stay over. We even have doggy friendly areas inside as we know how much your dog is part of the family too, just like our Barney (who is a rescue dog from Spain).
Many of you will know that our home is a 17th Century property and was an inn named the Hare and Hounds, which many years ago used to be a thriving pub within the local community. We hope to make the Olive Tree a hub for the village again where they will always see a friendly face! We have even got draft beer on now for anyone who still wants a pint!
We look forward to welcoming you whether for delicious food in the tea room or a restful stay.

It's beautiful, refurbished and clean in a traditional country style. The food and cakes in the Tea room are delicious and all homemade. Highly recommend a visit.
